Kim Alvis has been the media specialist for First Presbyterian Church since 2005. Her duties include production of the weekly bulletin, the monthly newsletter and various other publications, and keeping the congregation informed about upcoming events through email, the flat screen television and bulletin boards. Kim has a degree in Communications from East Tennessee State University. She also works as a correspondent for the Kingsport Times-News. She enjoys hiking and spending as much time as possible outdoors.

Russ is the Director of Christian Education and Youth Ministries. He oversees the youth and children’s ministry at First Presbyterian Church as well as the Sunday school program. Russ went to Presbyterian College where he majored in Religion and graduated in 2006. As the Church Business Administrator, Annie is responsible for the general coordination of the church’s business affairs. She supervises the custodial and support staff, oversees and coordinates contractors handling property repairs and construction, maintains the church’s activities calendar, and coordinates scheduling and use of the church facilities. In cooperation and coordination with various committee chairpersons, Annie actively participates in purchasing and the recruitment of church staff and nursery workers.
